Are you looking for a quick and easy DIY installation or repair for your coax cable?
Our Reverse Polarity TNC Female Crimp connectors for LMR-400 will provide a simple solution for your wiring needs.
The 3 piece connector consists of the connector housing, the pin, and the ferrule.
For this installation you will need: A coax stripper, coax cable, a soldering iron, crimp tool, and the TNC connector.
Keep in mind, you will want to make sure that your coax stripper, crimp tool, and connector match the coax cable that you are installing.
Start by inserting the ferrule over the outer jacket of the cable. Then, using your cable stripper, strip back the outer jacket and dielectric. The advantage of using a cable stripper is that it will strip back the jacket and dielectric at the same time.
Pull back the braided shield and Insert the pin onto the center conductor. Solder the pin onto the center conductor and insert the connector housing over the cable.
Then, slide up the ferrule to the base of the connector, folding the shield with it. Crimp the ferrule onto the outer jacket to complete termination.
Congratulations, you have successfully installed the Reverse Polarity TNC Female connector.
