You know ShowMeCables for our cable products, but are you aware we also do commercial IT hardware and cable installation? We’ve actually been doing it since 2002 – partnering with our good friends at INC Installs to perform commercial IT hardware and cable installation throughout the U.S. and Canada.
Both companies are owned by Infinite Electronics, and ShowMeCables grew out of parent company INC Installs, so there’s a lot of natural synergy in the relationship. ShowMeCables has IT hardware and cable product expertise, while INC has planned, designed, and installed every aspect of wired network infrastructure over the past 25 years.
Below are three of the main installation services we offer you:
- Cabling and Network Installation
INC Installs provides national cabling and network installation services for commercial, educational, and industrial clients throughout North America. Our experts handle every aspect of network deployment, from designing and installing a completely new network to

ShowMeCables’ Line of Open-Frame Swing Gates Come in 5 Capacities and 2 Depths
IRVINE, Calif. − ShowMeCables, an Infinite Electronics brand and a supplier of wired and wireless connectivity products, has just introduced a line of open-frame wall-mount swing-gate racks. This innovative design features a hinged front gate that swings open 180 degrees for easy rear cable and equipment access. The 10 new models are the standard 19-inch width and they come in two depths and five capacities up to 18U.
Unlike traditional wall-mount or floor racks, ShowMeCables’ space-saving swing-gate series keeps equipment tucked away close to the wall without needing room to roll the rack forward or rotate it to reach rear cables and ports. Its space efficiency makes it ideal for network closets, hallways, retail locations, classrooms, offices and more.
All these newly released wall-mount swing-gate racks are built to rugged professional specs and carry numerous certifications. They are made of cold-rolled

Though 23-inch-width server racks are not used as widely as their narrower 19-inch cousins, they offer distinct benefits you can only get with the extra width. Below we list some popular uses and the five biggest advantages of these roomy models, and we conclude with a table summarizing ShowMeCables’ recently launched line of 23-inch-width server racks.
Popular Uses
Introduced in the early days of telephony, 23-inch racks became a standard for telephone exchange equipment. For much of the 20th century, these racks were the primary standard in telecommunications, housing switches, relays, and other network equipment. As electronic equipment diversified, 19-inch racks became more common in other industries, but 23-inch racks remained prevalent in telecom.
Today, 23-inch racks continue to be used and supported in telecom facilities but are also deployed in industrial settings. They not only maintain compatibility with older equipment, but can hold 19-inch gear as well. Additionally, they
