OM5 Fiber Cables - Multimode Duplex LC, SC, Plenum, Riser & LSZH (50/125) Optic Cable
The multimode OM5 fiber cables from ShowMeCables are used for telecom, Datacom (data centers), transceiver connectivity, enterprise networking, 100 gigabit Ethernet, SWDM and VCSEL applications. The duplex form factor cable is ready for deployment in any multimode 50/125 or 40/100 GB network. These multimode laser-optimized OM5 fiber optic cables are constructed from the highest quality silica and are 100% factory tested. Our OM5 fiber cables come with ceramic ferrules and have OFNP (Plenum), OFNR (Riser), or Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) jacket material.
The OM5 fiber optic cable is immune to electrical interference. These fiber cables are available in 1, 2, 3, 5, 10 and 15-meter lengths. By utilizing these fiber optic cables, users can implement high-speed, low-cost multimode transceivers or VCSELs (vertical cavity surface emitting lasers). The OM5 fiber is optimized for SWDM (short wavelength division multiplexing), resulting in greater overall system cost savings.
ShowMeCables’ multimode OM5 cables are available with LC to LC, LC to SC, SC to LC and SC to SC connectors. This cable connectors utilize a UPC (ultra physical contact) polish, which provides a better surface finish with less back reflection. Our 50/125 and 40/100 GB micron patch cables are comprised of Corning optical fiber with cladding. These OM5 fiber cables are optimized for multi-wavelength transmission systems operating in the range of 850 to 1300 nm.
