This adapter enables breaking out a 50 pin female telco cable. Each bar has one 50-pin female RJ21 connector as input and 6, 8 or 12 jacks as output. The shell features two holes for screw mounting to a wall or panel.

A: Both connectors are the same size and appear the same. However looking at the contacts an RJ11 will only have 4 contacts. An RJ12 will have 6 contacts.
