RJ11 Products from ShowMeCables
RJ11 is a type of connector used to connect a telephone wall jack to a phone. Each RJ11 connector contains four metal pins, each connected to one of the four smaller wires inside the main cable. There are two different pinouts (wiring schemes) for RJ12, straight and reverse. Straight pinouts are used to send data (like a fax machine). Reverse pinouts are used to send voice communications (like phone calls). RJ11 is the same size as RJ12, although RJ12 is newer and uses six pins instead of four.
