The ShowMeCables PDW1R-01149-NN5N dense wavelength-division multiplexing (DWDM) filter is a passive fiber device that splits the common fiber into different channels. This passive filter is available with 1-channel, that is channel 49, and 100 GHz spacing. It is an OSP ring optical add-drop multiplexer (OADM) which is used in wavelength-division multiplexing systems for multiplexing and routing different channels of light into or out of a single-mode fiber.
The 1-channel filter comes with a 1 meter long fiber, 900um buffer fiber lead and SC/APC connector to minimize back reflection. It has a maximum 0.2 dB polarization-dependent loss (PDL) and a 0.1 PS polarization mode dispersion (PMD). This passive filter's DWDM module is used to increase the bandwidth of an existing fiber network.
This PDW1R-01149-NN5N passive filter has a length of 3.15 inch and can operate at temperatures ranging from 0 to 75 degrees C. It has a minimum 30 dB passport isolation and a maximum 45 dB directivity. The 1-channel filter comes with a maximum 1.5 dB channel insertion and a minimum 40 dB return loss. This DWDM filter with SC/APC connector is suitable for single-mode fiber networking, MUX function, metro transport, regional distribution, and outside plant operation applications.
ShowMeCables has the largest in-stock selection of channel 49 passive filters with same-day shipping for domestic and international orders.
