When the Satellite Dish is installed on the mounting bracket this compass, used along with a Satellite Meter, is the perfect tool to align the satellite correctly. The azimuth measurements given by the meter will provide you with a degree to align the compass with. By pointing the compass so that the red needle lines up with the north marker and placing it on a flat surface near the dish, you can aim the dish in the direction that corresponds with the degree markings. This mini-compass is econmic as well as accurate.
