L-com Waterproof USB Type B Jack with 10" Wire Leads

This jack is perfect to waterproof your USB system setup. Waterproof cables and jacks can save you money by keeping dirt and moisture out of your ports. This jack from L-com allows the user to use the USB B interface with IP67 rated caps and cables. It also comes with 10 inch wire leads that can easily be soldered to a PCB or other connection, such as a cable. When not in use, you can use WPUSB-CVR or WPCVR-USB-1394 to keep the port free of debris.

USB 1.1
- Released in 1998
- Specifies max data rates of 12 Mbit/s (Full Speed)
- Mostly used on devices such as keyboards mice joysticks printers scanners.
- Still used by some devices that don't need faster data transfer rates.

USB 2.0
- Released in 2000
- Specifies max data rates of 480 Mbit/s (Hi-Speed)
- Compatible with USB 1.1 but some hardware designed for USB 2.0 may not work with USB 1.1 host controllers.

USB 3.0
