The L-com PPMF-225055-191 is a PM FBT (Polarization Maintaining Fused Biconical Taper) passive coupler from ShowMeCables with 2 x 2 leads and is used to connect two ends of fiber optic cables with high precision. The fiber coupler is designed for operation at 1550nm wavelength and available in 50:50 coupling ratio ideal for applications where the light is split from the input port into two output ports which is also bi-directional. This fiber optic coupler is manufactured using PANDA fiber which allows it to maintain a high polarization extinction ratio (PER). The leads are 900um diameter and 1 meter length with narrow key FC/APC connectors.
The PPMF-225055-191 polarization maintaining fiber optic coupler is used to mitigate polarization instability and offers higher performance for dispersion, cleaner signal, and minimize dispersion penalty. This 2 x 2 fiber coupler uses a fused biconical taper technique which increases uniformity of distribution from the input fiber to the output fibers and reduces overall loss through the coupler. It has an operating temperature range from -5 to 75°C which adds temperature stability and features a packaging of 3 x 54mm.
This L-com PPMF-225055-191 PM FBT passive coupler from ShowMeCables is in stock and ready to ship same-day.
