This Lightning Protector from L-com provides the user with superior surge protection for 10/100/1000 Base-T Ethernet networks. It is compatible with 802.11 af/at POE+ devices. It is also compatible with Access Points, Servers and Routers without POE functionality. Cable shield is isolated from the safety ground. The unit has low line to line and line to ground capacitance to minimize distortion of high-speed signals. Compact weather resistant housing includes a screw-top cover and cable glands that can accomodate a pre-terminated bootless RJ45 cable. For longer runs, two are recommended, one at either end of the run.
