This tool is used to reverse the polarity of the Universal LC™ fiber cables, as well as change the pitch from the standard LC (6.25 pitch) to the mini LC (5.25 pitch). This will allow you to future-proof your LC connectors as the mini LC format grows in demand and network space becomes a premium commodity. The ULC cables include a Rapid Release Latch™ and this tool is designed to engage insertion and removal from a crowded panel.
