Belden 9222 type RG58A/U is a 50 Ohm Triax cable which offers an additional layer of insulation and a second shield. This outer shield allows for the advantage of multiplexing the signal. Triax cable is not only able to work as a signal conductor, but as a power conductor as well. The most common uses are for interconnecting video cameras to respective equipment enabling for the control and signal of the unit all in one cable. This cable features a Polyethylene inner jacket and a PVC outer jacket. Internally this cable is protected from RFI and EMI interference by a 95% tinned copper inner shield and a 95% tinned copper outer shield. The center conductor is made from 20 AWG stranded tinned copper. RG58 is commonly terminated with a BNC, N, TNC, or UHF connector.
