Video Camera Cables from ShowMeCables
Video cameras can use a few different types of cables, with the most common being certain coax cables or ethernet cables. Coax cables are paired with separate power cables. The power cables use DC barrel connectors, typically with a 2.1mm ID / 5.5mm OD (Inner Diameter/Outer Diameter). DC barrel connectors come in different sizes, so if you are replacing or repairing one be sure to pick the right unit. Some video cameras also use ethernet cables, the same type of cable used for Internet connections. These types of cameras typically use POE (Power Over Ethernet) for power, which is standard for modern ethernet cables. This lets the video signal and power come from a single cable instead of two.
