Cable Splitters from ShowMeCables
Splitters are used when a single output needs to go to multiple inputs. For example, connecting a DVD player to more than one television. When a splitter is used, the signal will get weaker. Say you had a DVD player going to two televisions. Each of those TVs will only receive half the normal signal power. The bigger a splitter is, the weaker the individual signals it outputs will become. If you need to go the opposite direction (so say two DVD players going to one TV), you need a switch instead of a splitter. Switches will only allow you to use one input at a time.
