Cat6a Ethernet Products from ShowMeCables
Cat6a is the upgraded version of Cat6, with “a” standing for “augmented”. Cat6a has the same maximum speed as Cat6 but greater bandwidth, at 750 Mhz compared to Cat6’s 550 Mhz. The cables are also thicker because they are built with extra shielding, which reduces signal interference and makes Cat6a significantly better at maintaining high signal speeds over long distances. The increased thickness does make Cat6a less flexible than Cat6 but its overall better performance is well worth the trade-off.
