This USB insert allows you to install a USB Type A cable in the front while having a cable assembly in the back, which contains a latching USB A connector. The outer metal shield protect the jack from EMI/RFI interference that can cause a signal loss. This USB 3.0 panel mount is backwards compatible to USB 2.0 and will support data transfer rates of up to 5 Gbps. Mount with 4-40 screws, not included.
