This Motorola style NMO connector is suitable for mounting in up to 1/2' thick surfaces. To install you will need a 3/4' (19mm) size hole in the vehicle. It is shipped ready for lower frequency use and can be easily converted to higher frequency use by removal of a surface insulator and gold center contact pin.
