The plastic banana plug connectors offer excellent sound quality at a budget-friendly price. These connectors are used for speaker connections and certain test equipment connections. Plastic banana plugs will support speaker wire as big as 12 AWG. The wire is secured with two adjusting set screws in differing sizes and heights.
