OM2 Fiber Cables - Multimode Simplex & Duplex (50/125), LC, SC, ST, ODVA, UPC
The multimode OM2 fiber cables at ShowMeCables is used for fiber network deployments, FTTX, data storage, fiber channel, server farms, Infiniband, gigabit Ethernet, ATM and high transfer rates data applications. These OM2 cables are available with LC to LC, LC to ST, LC to SC, SC to SC, SC to ST, ST to ST, ODVA LC/UPC - LC/UPC and ODVA LC/UPC - ODVA LC/UPC connectors. Our OM2 fiber cables is 100% optically inspected as well as tested for insertion loss.
The OM2 fiber optic cables come with ceramic ferrules and have OFNP (Plenum), OFNR (Riser), or Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) jacket material. Our cable connectors utilize a UPC (Ultra Physical Contact) polish, which provides a better surface finish with less back reflection. The 50/125 and 62.5/125 GB micron fiber patch cable is well suited for service providers, enterprise networks, data centers, cloud storage and IT departments. Our yellow jacket OM2 fiber cables are made of clad Corning optical fiber.
The OM2 cables, sometimes referred to as a fiber optic patch cords or fiber jumper cables, are terminated with fiber optic connectors on both ends. These simplex and duplex form factor cables are ready for deployment in any multimode 62.5/125 or 50/125 GB network. Our OM2 fiber cables are available in 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 10, 12 and 15-meter lengths, as well as other custom length possibilities.
