Belden 1421A is a low capacitance serial computer cable used in EIA RS-232/422 applications. This cable has a nominal impedence of 100 Ohm and comes with 4 pairs of 24 AWG stranded tinned copper conductors. This cable is protected from RFI and EMI interference by a 100% tinned copper Beldfoil® shield. The conductors are insulated by Datalene® foamed polyethylene. This insulation features a low dielectric constant and a dissipation factor for high speed, low distortion data transfers. The jacket is CM rated PVC.
