Plenum RG6 is designed to meet the strictest of electrical codes; our plenum cable meets or exceeds many common cable standards. RG6 is commonly used for digital HDTV, CATV, satellite television, and outdoor TV antennas installations. This cable features a CMP rated Low Smoke PVC jacket. Internally this cable is protected from RFI and EMI interference by a 60% aluminum braid, 100% aluminum foil shield, 40% aluminum braid, and another 100% aluminum foil shield. Quad shield cable is far superior at rejecting interference and should be used in high EMI/RFI environments. The center conductor is sweep tested to 3.0 GHz and is made from 18 AWG solid Copper-clad Steel. RG6 is commonly terminated with an F-Type, BNC, or RCA connector.
