Product Questions
Do these 1RU ecore rackshelves have lips on them that "bend up" (like in the photos), or "bend down" (like in the video)? At a glance the photos and video look like the same product. But closer inspection, there are actually 2 different styles being shown here. Not talking about 1RU vs 2RU vs 3RU. The manufacturing is different on the lippage.
Pros of the ones that "Bend Down" = Not limited to a device that is only 10.25 inches deep, but can accept devices that hang off a few inches.
Cons of the ones that "Bend Down" = I may be wrong but they seem to have the potential to extend outside of their allocated 1RU of rackspace, and I'm worried that might intrude on the space beneath. Perhaps 4 1RU switches with regular "Ears" can fit into 4RU of space, but perhaps only 3 1RU shelves can fit into 4RU of space if we use the ones that don't bend up.
Thank you

It appears that the lips are on hinges that allow them to be up, down, or flat. To confirm, I will have to reach out to our manufacturer and will likely not receive a response until sometime next week. When I get confirmation, it will be posted here.
