PROS: The product works really well; Super fast
    CONS: None specified
A new project I am working on requires a 4-conductor cable for a sensor. I needed it to be flexible and if it was easy to work with, that would be an added bonus. This cable fit the bill. The insulation is quite flexible so the cable can be easily manipulated. The 26AWG wires inside are easy to strip and the strands are not so thin as to be a pain to work with while soldering. This is definitely going to be my go-to cable when I need a 4-conductor wire.

Q: What is the difference between an RJ11, an RJ12, and an RJ45 connector?

A: Both RJ11 and RJ12 connectors are the same size and appear the same. However, looking at the contacts an RJ11 will only have 4 contacts. An RJ12 will have 6 contacts. An RJ45 connector will have 8 contacts and needs to use 8 conductor modular cable

Q: What are the terms 6P4C, 6P6C and 8P8C referring to?

A:

6P4C: 6 Position 4 Conductor (RJ11) - used for ADSL, telephone, and modem cables.

6P6C: 6 Position 6 Conductor (RJ12) - used in System phones.

8P8C: 8 Position 8 Conductor (RJ45) – used in network wiring

Q: Which pinout should I use to attach a connector?

A: Newer phones can use a straight or reverse pinned line cord. If you’re unsure of the age of your phone a reverse pinned cord will work with any age phone
