    Will this product work in my car to stream music if I broke my aux port but still have multiple USB ports that work?

    Because I have a LENOVO 540P which does not have an audio input jack I had to use a USB to Dual 3.5mm Female - Stereo Audio and Microphone Converter to transfer audio. I had major issues with this device when I initially tried to use it. Horrible sound and motor boating. After working with the folks at ShowMe Cables and a lot of unnecessary trouble shooting I found that the device was NOT the problem. It was the software (ROXIO) that was the issue. I down loaded a free software product called AUDACITY and all the problems vanished. This little inexpensive unit works great. The audio quality is perfect. I love it and highly recommend the device and ShowMe Cables. I give it a two thumbs up. So far I have converted 17 cassettes to MP3 format.

    The headphone jack on my laptop is no longer able to hold my headphones and getting it fixed by the Geek Squad could cost $150! I paid less than $5 for this and it works fine.

    I bought this to replace the one on my plantronics Headset that got damaged. It works fine. Now I can use my Headset with my computer again. It works great with Skype.

A: No, a converter will only change the signal type. The signal quality will be only as good as the input device.
