What is the difference between LMR & Low-loss Cable?
Low-loss cable and LMR are equivalent terms. LMR is a brand-name invented by Times Microwave. Whenever someone uses the term "LMR", it is like using the word "Kleenex" instead of "tissue."

Is LMR better than other Low Loss cables?
LMR from Times Microwave is a very high-quality cable, but it can also be quite expensive. We think that for most applications any of our low-loss cables will work. Generally, Times Microwave has more shielding than the others so it is best if you are working in an environment where EMI may be a significant factor. We have tried to provide as much technical detail about the products as possible to allow consumers to pick the right cable for their application.
