The Lightning Surge Protector is an excellent product with good characteristics and very easy to install. I was able to install it on the antenna mast support bracket easily. The ground post is well positioned for the the grounding wire and accommodates a #8 AWG wire. The price is very good for the value. The shipping price was very reasonable also.

My order was processed the same day I placed it, and I received the item (F-Type Lightning Surge Protector) a couple of days later. These guys don't let any grass grow under their feet. This was my second order with "Show Me," but won't be my last.

Lighting is a problems with high end TV installations and many people protect the 110 volt power to TV's, but not the antenna and cable coming to the units. These gas discharge devices stand a much better chance of saving the TV than anything out there. The even work well on Internet Cable lines, as the little blocks the installers put at the entrance is not nearly effective to save expensive cable modems or the more expensive high end computers corrected with wired Network cables. When the costs of a lighting hit are compared against the price for this device, the devices are more than worth it. Don't run your TV or Internet Modems without one of these o the incoming lines to the house. I hooked up mine with #6 wire to the utility ground rod, for even better protection.

The lightning block is another process in protecting my low voltage system. I hope that not when but if my home is ever compromised again this block will stop what fried my system recently. If that happens I will gladly buy this product again and will promote it to people who I help install low voltage systems in their homes
