Standard length (approx. 2 ft) but it will stretch. Color was spot on. We also purchased several of the shorter length cords. Recommend getting the extended detangler to go with it.

I will order from Shome Me Cables again, if the need arises. They not only had a variety of choices, but the turnaround was very quick.

It didn't seem much longer than the standard cable that came with the phone but, when extended, it is clearly longer and better. If you want it to be much longer, go for the 25 ft. extension. When coiled, it is still probably manageable around the phone but greater extension capability.

We ordered about 20 of these phone cables for our Cisco phones. Right out of the bag about five of them did not work well and one had an end that just fell off. Customer support answered the phone right away and sent out replacement cords free of charge. I would probably buy from them again because of their responsive service desk.

Why are the cables much shorter than the listed length?

The cable length that is listed is the uncoiled length. This is an industry standard practice of measuring handset cords. So the 6 foot cable once coiled is only around 13 inches. The 12 foot cable's coiled length is 20 inches. The 25 foot cable's coiled length is 45 inches.

What is the difference between Standard Lead and Extended Lead?

The difference is the length of the flat (uncurled) leads at the end of the cord. Extended lead handset cords feature a 4 inch uncurled end. While a standard phone cord has a 1.5 inch uncurled end. The length you need depends on your phone. If you need to route the cable under the base of your phone then an extended lead will give you a longer uncurled end. Most customers use the 1.5 inch standard handset cord.

Will those handset cords fit my phone system?

Yes, all of these handset cords will fit your phone, even recessed phones. The connectors on a handset cord are a standard throughout the industry
