Good quality for the price. Rigid, not flimsy. Black matte finish that doesn't scratch easy; holes are numbered in a readable manner even when installed into a rack. While I didn't buy the couplers from here, the "keystone type" ones I bought elsewhere fit perfectly. I would recommend to anyone looking for a solid patch panel solution that requires a moderate number of keystone-type adapters.

Excellent, cost effective 16 port keystone panel. I wish the jacks fit into this more like a wall plate, but it works well regardless. Fast shipping, great company to purchase from.

PROS: The product gets the job done; Faster than I expected
    CONS: None specified
The patch panel works and gets the job done. The tolerances on the holes are not great and it doesn't really fit the 110-style keystones we use. Tool-less keystones and couplers fit fine, but you might want to check the fit of your particular keystones and the panel before doing a large project.

From the very beginning my experience with ShowMeCables was a positive one. From the product itself, to the shipping speed, to the customer service. Will definitely be ordering from them again very soon! Thanks

I don't think it mentions that the keystones don't sit flush in the plate, but it works for what I needed it to do, Maybe a photo of it loaded with them might help.

Good product for the price! I bought this to hook up my RG6 Quad cables to Keystone jacks since the 12 port F-connectors were very pricey, so I tried this out. Quality is great . Works as advertised

    PROS: Price. Price. Price.
CONS: I wish the number label was below the port, but no real problem.
These work very satisfactory for me. I primarily use ICC brand keystones with this panel. I like the fact that I can easily use a screw driver to release the keystone if I need to move it. Keystones do extend past the face (not flush) but when the keystones are flush to the face they are harder to extract. They are very comparable to ICC brand patch panels. I use them in new home construction for some beautiful network/media closets to terminate all cabling home runs.

Better quality than I expected for the price. Keystone jacks do stand proud of the front of the panel, not as neat looking as one where jacks mount flush. However this was very inexpensive, seems to be sturdy and everything fits well. I am happy.

Q: What are the benefits of using a patch panel?

A: Patch panels will allow testing, routing and maintenance of network/telecom cables connected to your network. With a patch panel this is quickly done just by making changes to cables on the patch panel itself. Patch panels also allow for easier cable management and identification of cable routing.

Q: What is a rack unit?

A: A rack unit, U or RU is a unit of measure that describes the height of equipment designed to mount in a rack. A rack unit is 1.75 inches. Typically one rack unit will take three vertical screw holes on each side of a standard rack.

Q: What’s the difference between High Density Jacks and Standard Jacks?

A: The difference between them is in physical profile; there is no difference in performance. High-density jacks have a slimmer rear profile, which allows more ports to be inserted into a single rack unit. When using a high-density patch panel or certain wall plates, you must use high-density jacks as well.

Q: What’s the difference between NetKey, Mini-Com and Keystone Jacks?

A: Mini-Com is proprietary to Panduit. The modules will only work in Panduit mini-com faceplates, patch panels and surface boxes. Panduit’s NetKey line has an "Industry Standard Keystone Footprint", which allow us to work in other manufacturer’s faceplates, patch panel and surface boxes.
