PROS: The product works really well; Faster than I expected
    CONS: None specified
I had recently placed an order for some F style Keystone connectors. When I received the package, I found IDC style RCA connectors instead. When I wrote about this mess up to the customer service dept., they acted fast and shipped a replacement order of the correct connector type. I didn't have to return the RCA connectors but I don't have any use for them (at least at the moment). Good job customer service. The product looks great but I have yet to put it to use; so can't comment on its working. I don't expect any issues though as the quality of construction gives me that confidence.

Q: What does keystone mean?

A: Keystone refers to a standardized modular system where different jacks can be snapped into wall plates, surface-mount boxes, or a patch panel. Any keystone module (or jack) will fit in any keystone plate or panel.

Q: Which manufacturers' wall plates, patch panels and surface mount boxes will these jacks work with?

A: The dimensions of all keystone products are standardized, so these jacks should work with keystone products from any manufacturers. Some of the most popular brands are ICC, Panduit, and Leviton.

Q: What is an F-type connector?

A: An F-type connector is a 2 conductor coaxial cable connector used to connect antennas and set-top boxes to TVs, VCRs and DVDs. F connector cables typically carry analog NTSC TV signals, and the plug's socket is easily identified because it is threaded. Plugs come threaded and unthreaded, both of which fit the threaded socket.

Q: What is an F-type connector used for?

A: F connectors are commonly used for connecting antennas and cable set-top boxes to TVs and other video equipment. The socket is marked "ANTENNA" or "ANT/CABLE" or "RF," the latter referring to the analog video "radio frequency" signal.
