I used this tool at a group in Omaha a couple years ago, and recognized its value in saved time. Yes, the connectors are $0.25 higher than others, but the time saving when working a large cabling project is well worth the price of the crimper and its associated supplies

I'm an installer/draftsman/panel builder for Integrated Control Systems out of Tulsa, OK. I recently wanted to upgrade to the feed thru style of RJ45 & RJ12 connectors along with a crimper/cutter tool. I cant tell you how many times I've crimped the old style connector only to find out that during the tedious task of shoving the wires in they managed to move around on me. Not a problem anymore. these crimpers offer great leverage for easy crimps every time. my only question is why they dont have a cutter on both sides (6-pin & 8-pin)? this is easily remedied by removing your 6-pin, after crimping it on the correct side, and then using the 8-pin side to cut the excess wires off. Great Crimper guys, ill be ordering more of these for all of our installers.

Although it is a little pricey for quantity one - never the less it is a well made tool that performs as expected. When used in conjunction with your EZ connectors it makes life more bearable. Those RJ45 connectors, at times, can be a bear. This tool coupled with your EZ RJ45 connectors are a terrific combo that is hard to beat

The tool broke the first time I used it. The cutting blade for the EZ RJ45 connectors broke off. But the crimpping action worked well.
