PROS: The product works really well; Super fast
    CONS: None specified
I needed 5 dark gray long handset cords (yes... I still use some desktop phones) so I visited a number of Chicago stores where I found a miserable selection of handset cords. I was so pleased to find exactly what I was looking for on line. The cords were pout into immediate use and I am very pleased with the cords and my shopping experience. The next time I am coming straight to Show Me Cables. I won't waste my time and gas money running around. MT

Needed a long coiled cord in Dk Gray for a wall phone location in our home. This item arrived and was "as described" and "as pictured" on the web site. The website worked as expected, no glitches. Very Fast service and shipping, which was reasonable in this day and age! I'll be back for more items when needed!

Used to replace manufacturer's cord which was about one foot.

Why are the cables much shorter than the listed length?

The cable length that is listed is the uncoiled length. This is an industry standard practice of measuring handset cords. So the 6 foot cable once coiled is only around 13 inches. The 12 foot cable's coiled length is 20 inches. The 25 foot cable's coiled length is 45 inches.

What is the difference between Standard Lead and Extended Lead?

The difference is the length of the flat (uncurled) leads at the end of the cord. Extended lead handset cords feature a 4 inch uncurled end. While a standard phone cord has a 1.5 inch uncurled end. The length you need depends on your phone. If you need to route the cable under the base of your phone then an extended lead will give you a longer uncurled end. Most customers use the 1.5 inch standard handset cord.

Will those handset cords fit my phone system?

Yes, all of these handset cords will fit your phone, even recessed phones. The connectors on a handset cord are a standard throughout the industry
