PROS: The product gets the job done; Super fast

I dropped my laptop computer and luckily it landed on a carpeted surface. This may sound funny, the good news was the power plug broke off. It really was good news in that the computer power receptacle was not damaged. I ordered a replacement DC Power Connector - 2.5mm I.D. - 5.5mm O.D. and after cutting off the remnants of the original plug soldered the replacement plug to the power supply cable. The replacement plug works fine, but I gave it a 4-star rating because it is just slightly shorter than the original plug and is prone to pulling out of the female connector on the computer. Bottom line though it was a cost effective repair. RECOMMEND!

Bought these to make new connectors to fit my ACE Digipace 3 battery conditioner. Much better quality than the local electronic store stuff. Delivery by mail was fast and reasonable. Very satisfied with my purchase.

Don't use this plug to repair a (Lenovo) laptop DC supply. Such 20V supplies are bound to have too many wire strands to fit into the hot lug's tiny hole of this connector. The plug should have at least been made longer for soldering the twisted strands on top of it instead. If that wasn't bad enough, there's barely enough space between hot and ground lugs to then solder the twisted ground wire st

Transaction was great except for the fact that I didn't receive the anticipated "shipped email." I will definitely fuse showmecables again.

These are really hard to find. Show Me appears to have a good selection; I just chose the wrong length. The OD and pin diameter fit perfectly.
