This is the best extra long cord I've used. I've had different ones in the past that stretched out of shape and got tangled after very little use. This one I've been using for about a month now and it's holding up really well. Has not stretched out of shape and has not gotten tangled.

Thought I would update after usage. Purchased 7-14. I was very careful with cord to not twist during usage. Really don't use it often. It kept shape well for about 2 months--then began the huge tangle--shopping for another brand today.

Bought this to replace a year old cord that was stretched out and crackled. Have been using it one week and am extremely pleased. The cord stretches out but coils back up nicely. This is a very heavy duty cord with no static. Would do business with Show Me Cables again.

This product is exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a 15' coil phone cord when it was relaxed, not stretched out. ShowMeCables had a great video on the length of these phone cords. It was very helpful. This cable is labeled as 50' but when it is relaxed it is approx 15'. Great product/company.

Needed a long cord for emergency kitchen land line. Cord as it should be, heavy duty enough, holds shape. Bought one at wal*art for 6 bucks that instantly lost its shape and became an unusable tangle! This was what i was looking for. Thks

I just installed this cable last weekend on my two phones, and it seems to be holding its shape, does not tangle, at least for now - the future will tell. So far so good. The flat leader could have been half an inch longer to prevent hand set from lifting slightly when on the hook because my Nortel/Astra phone is tilted on my computer desk about thirty degrees, and longer flat leader would take ca

Why are the cables much shorter than the listed length?

The cable length that is listed is the uncoiled length. This is an industry standard practice of measuring handset cords. So the 6 foot cable once coiled is only around 13 inches. The 12 foot cable's coiled length is 20 inches. The 25 foot cable's coiled length is 45 inches.

What is the difference between Standard Lead and Extended Lead?

The difference is the length of the flat (uncurled) leads at the end of the cord. Extended lead handset cords feature a 4 inch uncurled end. While a standard phone cord has a 1.5 inch uncurled end. The length you need depends on your phone. If you need to route the cable under the base of your phone then an extended lead will give you a longer uncurled end. Most customers use the 1.5 inch standard handset cord.

Will those handset cords fit my phone system?

Yes, all of these handset cords will fit your phone, even recessed phones. The connectors on a handset cord are a standard throughout the industry
