    Description stated the "262°" that is used by my old Kenwood TS-830. Some parts are getting hard to find. Easy ordering & Super fast shipping. I will look to Show Me Cables for all my radio repair needs.

Q: What is the difference between an 8 pin din 270° and 262°?

A: There is a slight difference between the bottom left and right pins. A 270° connector has more circular layout. The 262° has more of a horseshoe layout. See the image below.

Tinning the wire ends and allowing them to cool before you tin the connector will prevent melting and allow you to attatch the wire correctly.
