The next level of networking cable for home and office users, Cat6 Ethernet patch cables connect computers with devices such as cable modems, routers, patch panels, hubs, and switches. Cat6 is backwards compatible with Cat5e, so a Cat6 cable can be used in place of any standard Cat5e networking cable. The standard boot is a molded bubble design that protects the connector from being damaged during installation. The flat cable design is not only more aesthetically attractive, but can also provide for greater air flow and ventilation in enclosed spaces. ShowMeCables' Ethernet patch cables are UL-listed and tested to 550 MHz to ensure distribution with low return loss.

Q: What is the difference between this and regular cat6 cables?

A: There is no performance difference in the cable. The only difference is that the cable itself is flat, rather than round.
