PROS: The product works really well; Super fast
    CONS: None specified
The DIN connectors worked as expected. However, I would have liked to have connectors that fit more snug with a more positive fit. I would also have liked a water proof connector. I don't know if there is a DIN that has a Tight fit and is water proof. I will put a sleeve around them. THE CONNECTORS ARE EXACTLY WHAT I ORDERED AND ARE IN USE. I APPRECIATED THE PROMPT SERVICE.

I bought this connector to make a cable that I could use to interface my 4 pin RTTY connector from my old still functioning rig to my new rig with a 6 pin din. WIth this connector,I can still use both radios if I want by just unplugging the RTTY output from this connector and plugging it back into the other radio. Simple, easy and fun!

A: See image below.

Q: What are 4 Pin DIN Connectors commonly used for?

A: The 4 Pin DIN Connector is commonly used to add extra power to the mother board for audio applications.

Q: What cables are used with DIN Connectors?

A: Din connectors are commonly used with multi-conductor cables with at least one conductor per pin on the connector.

Q: How do I attach a DIN connector to my cable?

A: In order to attach a DIN connector to a cable you must solder each pin to its respective conductor.

Q: How do I prevent melting the plastic in the connector during soldering?

A: When soldering a DIN connector avoid heating the untinned wire and connector point and applying the solder all at once. This will cause melting and frustration. Tinning the wire ends and allowing them to cool before you tin the connector will prevent melting and allow you to attatch the wire correctly.
