| The UniCam® connector is the ideal solution for all field-installable multimode and single-mode fiber-optic connector requirements. Quick installation time reduces the total installed cost for all fiber applications, from the main cross-connect to the workstation. The connector can best be described as a mini pigtail. It incorporates a fiber stub that is fully bonded in the ferrule. The other end is precisely cleaved and placed into the patented alignment mechanism of the mechanical splice. Both the field fiber and the fiber stub are environmentally protected. The UniCam ® connector requires no epoxy and no polishing. |
